About Me:

A person with ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, for he or she has a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed. - Desmond Tutu
Music : A quote by my lute teacher - Naseer Shamma, whom I was fortunate to study from in Tunis, lessons that I will never forget….

When invented, music has only gained its value and assets from being the spirit means for approaching God.For this reason I want my music to remain the spirit of humanity through expansion and extension of the human soul.
- Naseer Shamma

So - how are you today? Hope you are having a super day so far. ( If you are feeling down, pls read Sarang's post :-)
I consider myself a student and a teacher, I love to learn&teach absolutely anything, I seem to be interested in most things I come across. I look at every moment as an opportunity to learn or teach something - in fact I think both are automatically happening to me …. every moment has a bit of teaching and learning in it …
I was born in Hungary - traveled around in Europe & USA - spent 1 year in Tunesia learning Arabic ( the language and music).
Since 1997 I have been staying in South Africa.
I love playing the violin and the guitar (and whatever I find to make noise with -
like drums, didjeridoo, rainstick, kora etc.)
A few years ago I have discovered the Internet and open source technology - I haven’t stopped learning since.

Why not gift it
When I came, I came with nothing,
When I go, I'll go with nothing.
Yet while here, why do I desire everything?
Without ever wanting to give anything.
When I came, I came with noone,
When I go, I'll go with noone.
Yet why do I love some, and hate others?
When I can embrace everyone.
I don't know where I came from,
I don't know when I'll go back.
All I have is the present moment,
Why not gift it, while I'm still here?
